The Prints Depicting Dance and Movement contain an engraving of a dancer dated 1781.</abstract>

A matrix is the form or template of an image created by using tools or chemical processes on a material, such as metal or wood. Printmaking methods include engraving, woodcut, etching, and lithography.</p>
            <p>Dance is a performing art that consists of rhythmic sequences of body movements with aesthetic and symbolic value. The movements are often performed to music and can be purposefully selected or improvised. Dance is defined by performers and observers within a particular culture.</p>
            <p>Prints show dance and movement in a way that is different from other formats, like video or photography.</p>
