"Chico 'N' Peppina" was a comedy radio program about a newly married Italian-American immigrant couple, and Burns and Milanese performed as the characters of Chico and Peppina respectively. The Jimmy Burns and Rose Milanese Papers from their Performing Arts Careers, Including the "Chico 'N' Peppina" Radio Program, dated 1909-1954, 1985, contains materials about the careers of Burns and Milanese, including "Chico 'N' Peppina," as well as about their personal lives and family. The materials include photographs, scripts, promotional materials, scrapbooks, sheet music, and audio recordings.</abstract>

            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>Jimmy Burns (James Vincent Falabella) was a theatrical and radio performer. Rose Milanese (Rosa Milanese Falabella) was a performer and singer, who worked in theatre and radio. She was also a musical composer. They married in 1944.</p>
            <p>"Chico 'N' Peppina" was a comedy radio program about a newly married Italian-American immigrant couple. Burns and Milanese performed as the characters of Chico and Peppina respectively. The show was broadcast on the Cincinnati, Ohio radio station, WCKY, in the 1930s. Burns and Milanese also performed the show at several theatres in Cincinnati, Ohio.</p>
