Tarzan. There are fourteen episodes from throughout the show's run whose scripts do not appear in this collection, and four scripts for unaired episodes that are included in this collection.

Arrangement of Materials
This collection is arranged in chronological order by the date on which each episode originally aired on NBC. The dates that are listed for each folder are the dates that are printed on the scripts themselves, though it is unclear why some of these dates are after the original air date of the episode.

Historical Note
The television series
Tarzan lasted for 57 episodes on the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) network, with first episode airing on September 8, 1966, and the series finale aired on April 5, 1968. The show starred Ron Ely as Tarzan. The television program moved away from the previous practice of portraying Tarzan as an uncivilized "wild" man who was raised in the jungle, and toward portraying him as a well-educated man who chose to abandon society. Multiple screenwriters wrote episodes for
Tarzan throughout its run, including Don Brinkley, Jackson Gillis, and Carey Wilber.

Tarzan. There are fourteen episodes from throughout the show's run whose scripts are absent from this collection, and four scripts in this collection for episodes that never aired. The episodes whose scripts are missing from this collection are: "The Prodigal Puma," "Village of Fire," "Pearls of Tanga," "Captain Jai," "The Perils of Charity Jones, Part I," "The Perils of Charity Jones, Part II," "The Circus," "The Ultimatum," "Voice of the Elephant," "The Pride of the Lioness," "Mountains of the Moon, Part I," "Mountains of the Moon, Part II," "Jungle Ransom," and "Rendezvous for Revenge." The four unaired episodes whose scripts are in the collection are for "The Angry Mountain," "Duel Against Death," "The Lash," and the extended version of "Jungle Dragnet."
