            <p>The Joseph McCarthy Papers contain manuscript and typescript lyrics, correspondence, sheet music, scripts, and notes for theatrical productions, as well as short stories written by McCarthy. Materials other than the short stories are related to McCarthy's career as a songwriter and librettist, including an unlabelled 78-rpm record. The collection dates from 1910s-1943.</p>
