            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>As of 2019, Bambi Linn (Bambina Linnemeier) (1926- ) was born in Brooklyn, New York. She is an American dancer, choreographer and actress. She trained with Agnes de Mille and made her Broadway debut at the age of 17 with "Oklahoma!" in 1943. In 1945, she was in "Carousel" and earned a Theatre World Award; she played the same role in the 1954 and 1957 revivals. In 1947, Linn played Alice in "Alice in Wonderland." Linn was also in "Sally" in 1948, "Great to be Alive!" in 1950, "I Can Get It for You Wholesale" in 1962, and was the movement director in "Alice in Wonderland" in 1982.</p>

            <head>Scope and Contents</head>
            <p>The Bambi Linn Collection contains black and white photographs of productions and headshots, programs, two scrapbook pages, correspondence, clippings, a negative, and a flyer related to Bambi Linn's career as an actress. Materials are related to productions: "Oklahoma!," "Carousel," "Lights and Shadows," "Little Women," "Alice in Wonderland," and "Sally." There is a scrapbook page with material relating to "Carousel" and "Sally." The correspondence is to Linn from a Warner Brothers agent. There are a few photographs with Jacque d'Amboise as well. Materials are dated 1939-1959, 1968.</p>
