The Diana Howie Playscripts and Resume contains playscripts written by Diana Howie, three of which are based on historical figures and events in Texas. The playscripts are dated 2010-2019. The collection also contains Diana Howie's theater resume, dated 2018.</abstract>

            <p>Diana Howie (1945-) is a playwright, producer, and teaching artist. As of 2018, she resided in Houston, Texas. She has authored several full-length plays and was the Playwright in Residence at the Country Playhouse in Houston, Texas from 1997-2016. Howie is a member of the International Centre for Women Playwrights.</p>

            <p>The Diana Howie Playscripts and Resume contains playscripts written by Diana Howie between 2010-2019. Three of the plays, "Come Hell or High Water," "Leaving San Jacinto," and "Opportunity Knocks," are based on historical figures and events in Texas. The collection also contains Diana Howie's theater resume, dated May 2018.</p>
