Jean Kirsten is a visual artist and was born in Dresden in 1966 and studied painting and graphic art at the Dresden University of Fine Arts from 1990-1995. Some of Kirsten's work is inspired by Rudolf Laban, the inventor of the dance notation system labanotation. Kirsten has had over 40 shows exhibiting his art and has participated in over 50 group exhibitions throughout Germany and worldwide.
