            <head>Historical Note</head>
            <p>The Living Theatre, founded in 1947, is an experimental theatre group based in New York City. During the 1950's and 1960's, the Living Theatre focused on productions from European writers, poetic dramas, and helped begin the Off-Broadway movement. As of 2017, The Living Theatre has staged nearly a hundred productions performed in 28 countries in a variety of different languages.</p>
