The L. H. Pierce Textile Company was a manufacturer and wholesaler of luxury textiles and clothing. The company was active in Lebanon, Pennsylvania during the 1920s.
The L. H. Pierce Textile Co. Merchandise Sample Catalog Pages, dated circa 1923-1924, contain photographs that were used to advertise clothing made by the L. H. Pierce Textile Company. The photographs are attached to pages from a catalog or album that likely would have been shown to retail stores. The photographs show women and men models wearing different styles of clothing. The clothing includes dresses, undergarments, pajamas, blouse and skirt combinations, and sweaters. The models are posed next to furniture or in front of a backdrop. The company logo and brief textual description of the clothing pictured is superposed on the photographs. A few of the photographs are also hand-colored. Also included on one of the catalog pages is an text advertisement to stores about a particular fabric.
