Historical Note
As of 2025, Randall Landers is a producer, director, and editor of Star Trek fan films, and a publisher and writer of the fanzine publishing firm, Orion Press, previously Stardate Press. In 1979, the first issue of the fanzine
Stardate was published through Stardate Press, and ran for 21 issues until the fanzine was renamed
Orion due to legal dispute in 1985 with FSA Gaming Corporation over rights to the title
Stardate.
Orion fanzine continued to be published by Orion Press until 2010, when Landers began producing, directing, and editing Star Trek fan films.
