Caty Gulick lived in the township of Cranbury, New Jersey from 1799 to 1803. She married Elbert Hogalen on 20 January, 1803.
The Caty Gulick Diary and Commonplace Book comprises of a handmade dual pocket diary and commonplace book kept by Caty Gulick from 1799 to 1803. The diary includes entries made by Gulick recording her daily life in Cranbury, New Jersey, social calls, names of and notes regarding her friends and neighbors, and penmanship practice.
