                <emph render="italic">Studio K</emph> Recipe Box, dated between 1949 and 1951, is a green-painted, hinged metal box used to hold recipe cards that advertises 
                <emph render="italic">Studio K</emph>.</abstract>

            <p>WBNS-TV commenced operations on October 5, 1949 as the CBS television affiliate in Columbus, Ohio. One of their original shows was 
                <emph render="italic">Studio K</emph>, a cooking show hosted by Edwina Atteridge Zanes (1918-2013), a former food magazine editor from Rhode Island. 
                <emph render="italic">Studio K</emph> was the first cooking show broadcast on Columbus television. Zanes remained with WBNS until 1951, at which time she relocated to Connecticut. It is unclear whether or not the show continued after the departure of Zanes.</p>

                <emph render="italic">Studio K</emph> was the first cooking show broadcast on Columbus, Ohio television.</p>
