Maps were not drawn to scale, but were drawn with notable historical events, buildings, and battles marked by a sketch and a brief description of the event. "A Map Depicting Rochester and the Genesee Country" by Annie Olmstead Peet is a pictorial map showing the history of Rochester and Genesee County, New York through events spanning 1615-1827. It was drawn in 1926 by Annie Olmstead Peet.</abstract>

            <p>"A Map Depicting Rochester and the Genesee Country" by Annie Olmstead Peet is a pictorial map showing the history of Rochester and Genesee County, New York through events spanning 1615-1827. It was drawn in 1926 by Annie Olmstead Peet, a local historian and cartographer, and presented to members of The American Historical Association. The map is accompanied by an envelope with the Historical Association's name printed on it.</p>
