            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>Charles Moon lived in Clintonville, a neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. According to the 1850 census, Charles Moon was recorded as a railroad employee. Sometime after that, he established a large farm along the Clinton township line. The Franklin County Centennial history indicates that the family also conducted a brick manufacturing business in the area.</p>

            <p>The Charles Moon Diary and Brickyard Account Book is a mid-19th century manuscript attributed to a man named Charles Moon. The manuscript contains notations on Moon's brickyard business, including financial notes and notes about the inventory of bricks being made, sold, and moved. It also contains pages about Moon's daily life. The diary and account book is attributed to Charles Moon because his signature appears in several places throughout the book. The book dates from 1867-1869.</p>
