            <head>Historical Note</head>
<p>"Le Courrier de l'Air" was a propaganda leaflet printed in French that was dropped from aircraft during both World War I and World War II by the Allied forces in occupied France and Belgium. The leaflet was produced in London and distributed across the occupied territory by the Royal Air Force. The publication communicated information with Allied sympathizers in occupied areas, boosted morale, and gave updates about the war effort. During March 1944, as World War II was nearing an end, "Le Courrier de l'Air" contained positive news about the British war effort as well as the alliance with the United States. Additionally, there was emphasis on the collapse of Berlin's war industry due to Allied aerial bombardment campaigns.</p>
