Alfred Edward (A. E.) Housman was an English classical scholar and poet, whose most well-known work includes "The Shropshire Lad" poems.
The Alfred Edward Housman Poem Manuscripts contain photocopies of seven of Housman's personal notebooks and notes about where to locate poems within these notebooks. Materials written by Housman date prior to 1936, and index notations were created in 1947.
