W.A. Stephen was a apiculturist who worked as an extension specialist for the Cooperative Extension Service at The Ohio State University during the 1960s and 1970s. He also worked with the Ohio State Beekeepers Association during the same period.
W.A. Stephen's Bee Culture Papers consist of data on beekeeping experiments from 1964 to 1971. This data includes queen evaluations and stock tests in the form of notes, logs, and correspondence with other beekeepers and local beekeeping organizations.
