            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>Dickson L. Moore (1863-1940) was a physician and educator in Columbus, Ohio who practiced pediatrics. Moore lectured at Starling Medical College and contributed to the Columbus Medical Journal. His service included participation in numerous organizations, such as the Columbus Academy of Medicine and the Ohio State Pediatric Society, where he served as president and second vice-president. Moore also served on the Committee of Arrangements for the Ohio Medical Society, was on the Milk Commission of the Academy of Medicine in 1908, and was elected president of the Columbus Academy of Medicine. Moore often made in home visits to patients and held his office at 141 East State Street in Columbus.</p>
