June Roth (1926-1990) authored 36 books on food, health, and nutrition and was a president of the American Society of Journalists and Authors. She was also a member of the Authors League of America, the National Federation of Press Women, and the Newspaper Food Editors and Writers Association.
A few of June Roth's published works include "The Mood Control Diet," "Reversing Health Risks," "The Executive Success Diet," and "Aerobic Nutrition," of which there is an original manuscript in this collection. She also authored the "Special Diets/Nutrition Hotline," which is heavily featured in this collection, appeared on radio and television, and contributed articles on food and nutrition to national magazines.
The June Roth Papers contains a selection of June Roth's writings, including an original manuscript of "Aerobic Nutrition" and many entries of her "Special Diets/Nutrition Hotline" articles spanning the years of circa 1978-1993. Material dated after her death is a "Who's Who in America" form for her biography and any corrections to be made for the 47th edition of "Who's Who in America." Materials with Vol. and Col. in the title stand for volume and column, respectively.
