The Alan Sondheim Papers contains correspondence, electronic mailing lists, magazines, journals, and audio and visual recordings relating to Sondheim and his work spanning from 1974-2010.</abstract>

            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>As of 2017, Alan Sondheim is a poet, critic, musician, artist, and self-identified "theorist of cyberspace". He earned a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Brown University. He developed the concept of codework where computer code is used as a form of artistic expression. Sondheim is also the author of “The Internet Text,” an ongoing project consisting of written, generated, and posted texts online that are long-standing online performances dealing with digital consciousness.</p>
