 Biographical Note

As of 2017, Alan Sondheim is a poet, critic, musician, artist, and self-identified "theorist of cyberspace". He earned a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Brown University. He developed the concept of codework where computer code is used as a form of artistic expression. Sondheim is also the author of “The Internet Text,” an ongoing project consisting of written, generated, and posted texts online that are long-standing online performances dealing with digital consciousness.
