Wyer Typescripts, dated circa 1937-before 1956, contains fifteen typescripts by Samuel S. Wyer on the subjects of law, religion, social problems, and the advancement of technology, and his ideas on the betterment of humankind in relation to those subjects.</abstract>

            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>Samuel S. Wyer (1879-1955) was a consulting engineer who was born in Wayne County, Ohio, and worked in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated with a degree in Engineering from the Ohio State University in 1903. After his retirement from engineering, Wyer wrote about social problems, democracy, science, religion and law, sharing his ideas on how to create a better global society. He founded the Better World Fund, a non-profit corporation dedicated to sharing his views on these issues.</p>

            <head>Scope and Contents</head>
            <p>The Samuel S. Wyer Typescripts, dated circa 1937-before 1956, contains fifteen typescripts by Samuel S. Wyer on the subjects of law, religion, social problems, the advancement of technology, and his ideas on the betterment of humankind in relation to those subjects. It also includes a table of contents of the fifteen typescripts, which gives outlines for each of the topics discussed in each work.</p>
