The Schlueter Manufacturing Company was founded in St. Louis, Missouri in 1902, and closed in July of 1983, and produced various metal products. The Schlueter Manufacturing Company Advertising Records contains photographs, designs, and mockups for advertising their products. The products in the images include kitchen utensils and various kinds of buckets, pails, and cans. Some of these are painted with designs or images, and all of the products are made of metal. Materials date from circa 1930s-1983.

Historical Note
The Schlueter Manufacturing Company, located in St. Louis, Missouri, was founded in 1902, and closed in July of 1983, and produced various metal products. When the company began, they made tin cans for housing kitchen supplies such as flour, sugar, coffee, and tea. During World War II, the company began making anti-tank mines and helmets for the United States Army. They also made mopping equipment, metal trash cans, water coolers, galvanized pails, and other metal items. The Schlueter Manufacturing Company closed due to economic recession, diminishing product lines, and increasing labor costs.

The Schlueter Manufacturing Company Advertising Records contain photographs, designs, and mockups for advertising their products. The products in the images include kitchen materials such as flour, sugar, coffee, and tea containers; milk bottles; a lunch box; a breadbox; a cheese grater; and other containers and utensils. Other products include various kinds of buckets, pails, and cans. Some of these are painted with designs or images, and all of the products are made of metal. Materials date from circa 1930s-1983.
