The Marion Wilson Papers contains a review of Wilson's work entitled "Playing War," a postcard advertising an exhibition featuring Wilson's work, and an artist book created by her. The collection materials date from 1999-2000.</abstract>

            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>As of 2018, Marion Wilson is an American artist who works in sculpture, photography, and painting. Marion Wilson earned a bachelor's degree in studio art from Wesleyan University in 1983. She went on to earn a master's degree in urban pedagogy in 1990 from Columbia University, and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati in 1993. Her primary art form is municipal art, displayed in large communities spaces. Wilson collaborates with botanists, architects, and urban communities to create her art. She has exhibited her work all over the United States including the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York City, Kasia Kay Art Projects in New Orleans, SPACES in Cleveland, Ohio, and many other places. Wilson is an associate professor at the University of Syracuse in New York and the lead artist for a project called "Uprooted/re-Rooted" with Mural Arts, Restored Spaces.</p>
