From founder Rose Wehrenberg:

"MHP was pretty much Ryan J. Eilbeck & I's co-founded project, in that we took on the most responsibility to make it happen at first. I would also include James Payne as a co-founder, as he was kind of the big idea person behind the press. However, we did have a MHP collective from Fall 2010 to Fall 2011 of people who regularly attended meetings and gave their time and energy to the press's functioning. Those people were: Andy Gardner, Josh Kleinberg, Zac Little, Maryn Jones, Aaron Miller, Jack Ramunni, Ryan J. Eilbeck, and myself."
