Where this occurs, the cassette is found in the container list by the title of the first recording on the cassette, and not immediately preceding or following the other parts of the that recording.

Nelson Algren (1909-1981) was an American writer of novels, short stories, and poetry. Novels by Algren include "The Man with the Golden Arm," "A Walk on the Wild Side," and "The Devil's Stocking." Algren grew up in Chicago and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in journalism. Algren wrote his first story in 1933, and continued to write throughout the 1930s and 1940s. By 1949, Algren published "The Man with the Golden Arm," which won a National Book Award and was made into a movie. Algren was a person of interest for the Federal Bureau of Investigation for possible communist political views during the 1950s. Algren continued to write up until his death in 1981. Warren Leming (1941-) is a writer and producer, and co-produced "Nelson-Algren: The End is Nothing,The Road is All...." This collection is a result of Leming's work to collect materials and interviews on Algren. Leming is also a founding member of the Nelson Algren Committee, which was established in 1989.
