The 372nd Infantry Regiment, active 1918-1946, was an African-American regiment that was a part of the 93rd Infantry Division. The regiment served in France during World War I, and saw service in the Pacific during World War II as construction units and in defensive opperations. Towards the end of World War Two, the 372nd was stationed in Hawaii, and notable for living integrated with several white companies stationed there at the same time.
