Biographical Note
As of 2020, Joel Dailey is a poet who lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. He founded the poetry publication
Fell Swoop in 1983, for which he also served as the editor. Dailey was an Associate Professor of English at Delgado Community College in Louisiana from 1990-2017. He has written numerous poetry books, including
My Psychic Dogs My Life,
Surprised by French Fries,
Industrial Loop, and
Elements of Style. Dailey's work has also been published in magazines, including
Rolling Stone,
Exquisite Corpse, and
New American Writing.
