Biographical Note
As of 2017, Sally Alatalo is an American writer, artist, and the creator and publisher of
Du Da Magazine. The publication ran from the mid-1980s through the early 1990s, when works from small presses and mail art were popular. Alatalo experimented with underground graphics and experimental print technologies to create images that gave a feminist and aesthetic dynamic to traditionally feminine and domestic symbols.
