He is the owner and editor of Pavement Saw Press, a poetry-only publisher of full length poetry books and chapbooks based in Montpelier, Ohio. The David Baratier Printouts of Email Originally Composed in 1998-2001 is composed of emails sent to and from David Baratier, the founder and owner of Pavement Saw Press, from 1998 to 2001. He printed these emails out from October 17 to 18, 2001. The correspondence relates to Pavement Saw Press and the editing and publishing of experimental poetry by David Baratier and Pavement Saw Press.</abstract>

            <p>As of 2022, David Baratier is an American poet and publisher who was born in Schenectady, New York, in 1970. He is the owner and editor of Pavement Saw Press, a poetry-only publisher of full length poetry books and chapbooks based in Montpelier, Ohio. Pavement Saw Press was founded in 1993 in Columbus, and in 1998 it began receiving funding from the Ohio Arts Council. It is unclear when Baratier and Pavement Saw Press moved to Montpelier.</p>
