Jukka-Pekka Kervinen (1961-) is a Finnish composer, writer, visual artist, poet, and editor. He graduated from the University of Helsinki in 1989 with a degree in musicology, and from The Open University in 2000 with a degree in computing. Kervinen has edited experimental poetry zines and magazines, and often uses computer programs of his own creation to compose his poetry and music. As of 2022, Kervinen still composes experimental music and creates visual poetry.
The Jukka-Pekka Kervinen Visual Poetry consists of visual poetry created by Kervinen alone or with artistic collaborators from 2005-2008. Kervinen's collaborators include John M. Bennett, C. Mehrl Bennett, Jim Leftwich, Sheila E. Murphy, Ficus, and Baron. Various forms of visual poems are included in this collection, including copy art, collage art, score poetry, and computer-generated visual poetry; it also includes three self-published visual poetry books by Kervinen.
