Obzene was a zine focused on the alternative and punk rock music and arts scenes in the Cincinnati, Ohio, metropolitan area. Its four issues were published by the the Conquering Child Publishing Company of Cincinnati in April 1981, August 1981, November 1981, and April 1982.

 Scope and Contents

The Obzene Zines, dated 1981 April-1982 April, contains the full run of Obzene, an alternative rock music publication based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The publication lasted for one year and produced four issues, which featured interviews, record and concert reviews, poetry, and photography relating to alternative and punk rock music, art, fashion, and culture, as well as a calendar of upcoming events in the Cincinnati metropolitan area, including nearby Kentucky and Indiana.
