George Melville Bolling (1871-1963) was the Professor of Greek Language and Literature at the Ohio State University from 1914 to 1926, then taught classical languages from 1926 until his retirement in 1939 as a Professor Emeritus.
The George Melville Bolling Collection includes notebooks in German dating from circa 1830 to 1920. The notebooks are handwritten in old German cursive scripts, likely Kurrent.
