 Biographical Note

Saskia Praamsma Raevouri was born in the Netherlands, but has lived in the United States for most of her life. Prior to retiring, she worked in animation at Walt Disney Animation Studios, Hanna-Barbera, and Sullivan Bluth Studios; as of 2022, she operates Square Circles Publishing, which reissues books in the public domain about the afterlife. Raevouri studies the supernatural and the afterlife.

Sir George Hubert Wilkins (1888-1958) was an Australian polar explorer, aviator, photographer, cinematographer, naturalist, newspaper correspondent, soldier, consultant to the United States Military, lecturer and author. He had a personal interest in and studied extrasensory perception and other paranormal phenomena. He was married to Suzanne Bennett Wilkins (1893-1974), an Australian actress who performed on Broadway and was a portrait artist.

Harold Morrow Sherman (1898-1987) was an American author, playwright, screenwriter, and psychic researcher who conducted an experiment on extrasensory perception with Wilkins in 1937-1938 while he was in New York City and Wilkins was in the Arctic. Sherman was married to Martha Bain Sherman (1898-1998).

The results of Sir Hubert Wilkins and Harold Sherman's experiment were published in the book Thoughts Through Space: A Remarkable Adventure in the Realm of Mind, coauthored by Wilkins and Sherman, in 1942.

The Photocopy Reproductions of Correspondence, Diaries, Notes, and Related Documents Between Sir Hubert Wilkins, Harold Sherman, Martha Sherman, and Suzanne Wilkins as Collected by Saskia Praamsma Raevouri contains photocopied reproductions of correspondence between Sir Hubert Wilkins, Harold Sherman, and their wives, Martha Sherman and Suzanne Wilkins, on the subject of extrasensory perception; the photocopies date from August 2014, while the original materials reproduced in this collection date from 1931 to 1981.

Saskia Praamsma Raevouri collected, compiled, and photocopied these items as research for books she was writing, including The Urantia Diaries of Harold and Martha Sherman and The Urantia Notebook of Sir Hubert Wilkins: Fact Finder and Truth Seeker.
