Gretchen Muekenheim Glasgow (1946-) earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University in 1968. Obtaining her bachelor’s degree in nursing, then her master’s and doctoral degrees put Glasgow at the forefront of the nursing field as not many nurses were yet obtaining this level of preparation. Most of her nursing career was spent in Central Ohio, where she taught at Ohio Wesleyan and Capital universities and consulted at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
The Gretchen Glasgow Oral History (0.25 linear feet) contains copies of an oral history interview conducted with Glasgow on October 23, 2015, about her life and career.
The collection is open to the public and is available for viewing in the Medical Heritage Center. Materials do not circulate and must be used in the supervised reading room. Restrictions, including copyright, may exist and some materials may be too fragile to photocopy or digitize. The MHC charges for duplication services, which must be performed by staff.
