Kathleen S. Griffith Morris (1950-2023) graduated from The Ohio State University in 1972 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After working in different nursing roles at facilities in Columbus and Toledo, Morris began working at the Central Ohio Dialysis Center caring for renal patients in 1977. She moved to the Doctor’s Hospital Dialysis Center in 1986 where Morris worked for 14 years. In addition to patient care, Morris also worked for the Mid-Ohio District Nurses Association and the Ohio Nurses Association.
The Kathleen S. Morris Oral History (0.25 linear feet) contains copies of an oral history interview conducted with Morris on September 21, 2015, accompanied by her resume, obituary and memorial program.
The collection is open to the public and is available for viewing in the Medical Heritage Center. Materials do not circulate and must be used in the supervised reading room. Restrictions, including copyright, may exist and some materials may be too fragile to photocopy or digitize. The MHC charges for duplication services, which must be performed by staff.
