Kathryn Kluss Peppe (1947-) graduated from The Ohio State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1969 and entered graduate school at Ohio State that same year. After finishing her master’s degree in 1971, she became a nursing instructor first at Orient State Hospital and then at Ohio State’s Nisonger Center for Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. Peppe accepted the role of assistant nursing director for the Division of Maternal and Child Health, Ohio Department of Health in 1975. After serving multiple leadership roles, she retired from the Department of Health in 2001. In retirement Peppe continued to work as a maternal and child health consultant and grant reviewer.

The collection is open to the public and is available for viewing in the Medical Heritage Center. Materials do not circulate and must be used in the supervised reading room.
