Zandra Ensminger Ohri graduated from The Ohio State University with Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1973. Ohri worked at multiple in hospitals, including Mt. Sinai Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, Huron Road Hospital in East Cleveland, Ohio, Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. Ohri returned to Ohio State and obtained her master’s degree in adult education in 1984. At Bethesda Hospital, and then Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, staff development was the focus of her work. Ohri then joined the Ohio Nurses Association as Director of Continuing Education.
The Zandra Ohri Oral History (0.25 linear foot) contains copies of an oral history interview conducted with Ohri on September 23, 2014, accompanied by her resume.
The collection is open to the public and is available for viewing in the Medical Heritage Center. Materials do not circulate and must be used in the supervised reading room. Restrictions, including copyright, may exist and some materials may be too fragile to photocopy or digitize. The MHC charges for duplication services, which must be performed by staff.
