            <head>Biography</head>
            <p>Miriam R. Jeffers Wagner graduated from Bethesda School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1949. After a brief period working in a 10-bed hospital in McComb, Ohio, as the only nurse, Wagner became a surgical nurse at Starling-Loving Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where she worked with several prominent surgeons, including Dr. Robert Zollinger. Her nursing career continued at the Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, the outpatient clinic at Ohio State, and the outpatient clinic at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She retired after 23 years of service at Good Samaritan.</p>

            <p>The collection is open to the public and is available for viewing in the Medical
                Heritage Center. Materials do not circulate and must be used in the supervised
                reading room. Restrictions, including copyright, may exist and some materials may be
                too fragile to photocopy or digitize. The MHC charges for duplication services,
                which must be performed by staff.
