After working in a county hospital and doctor’s office, Peggy K. Hull came to The Ohio State University and entered a program started by Mildred Newton that allowed nurses to pursue their bachelors’ degrees while working at Ohio State. Productive years nursing at Ohio State led Hull to get her master’s degree at Columbia University Teacher’s College. When she returned to Ohio State, she took the temporary appointment of Associate Director of Nursing but was happy to move on to an education centered role. She co-authored a book about developing nursing staff titled, “The Process of Staff Development: Components for Change.”
