            <head>Biography</head>
            <p>Rosa Lee Weinert (1928-2021) entered the nursing program at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, at age 17. She graduated in 1949 and continued working at Good Samaritan Hospital for sixteen years. She eventually moved to Columbus, Ohio, where she was a staff member at the Ohio Nurses Association and then a part time nursing supervisor while she completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at The Ohio State University. After working at hospitals in Lansing, Michigan, and Barberton, Ohio, she returned to Columbus to serve as the executive director for the State Board of Nursing. She held this position for fifteen years.</p>

            <p>The collection is open to the public and is available for viewing in the Medical
                Heritage Center. Materials do not circulate and must be used in the supervised
                reading room. Restrictions, including copyright, may exist and some materials may be
                too fragile to photocopy or digitize. The MHC charges for duplication services,
                which must be performed by staff.
