Biography
Laura Clark was born in 1909. She graduated with a History Degree from Wells College in 1929 and soon after joined the John Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing. She received her Certificate in Public Health Nursing in 1937. Afterwards she held different positions as a staff nurse. She started attending Fort Benjamin Harrison, Station Hospital in 1942.

The Laura Clark Papers (approximately 1 linear foot) is comprised mostly of reports, photos and letters associated with Clark during World War II. Most of the documents are directly related to nursing in Germany at the time.

The collection is arranged in alphabetical order by folder title.
Restrictions on Access
The collection is open to the public and is available for viewing in the Medical
Heritage Center. Materials do not circulate and must be used in the supervised
reading room. Restrictions, including copyright, may exist and some materials may be
too fragile to photocopy or digitize. The MHC charges for duplication services,
which must be performed by staff.
