            <head>Biography</head>
            <p>Born in Germany, B. Anne Rubin’s family later moved to Columbus and she attended The Ohio State University School of Nursing, earning her B.S. in Nursing in 1950. After serving as a nursing instructor in Dayton, OH, and Pittsburgh, PA, Rubin moved to California and soon began a long career in school nursing. She published on the topic of “Black Skin” in the late 1970s and earned a M.P.H. in 1984 from California State University.</p>

            <p>The B. Anne Rubin Papers (1 file folder) contains an autobiography of and memorabilia from her nursing school years (1946-1950) at The Ohio State University School of Nursing.</p>

            <p>The collection is open to the public and is available for viewing in the Medical
                Heritage Center. Materials do not circulate and must be used in the supervised
                reading room. Restrictions, including copyright, may exist and some materials may be
                too fragile to photocopy or digitize. The MHC charges for duplication services,
                which must be performed by staff.
