            <abstract id="ref1" label="Abstract">W. Corey Trench established his environmental consulting firm, PRECOR Corporation, in the 1980s, where William Ditman, his former colleague at WAPORA Incorporated, served as a business advisor. In 1992, Trench was invited on a two week trip to Russia by an American political consulting company known as First Tuesday, where he was asked to propose a plan for improving the country's water and waste management. Following the initial visit, Trench returned to Russia several times, including a trip to Orenburg with William Ditman in 1993. "Coming to Russia: 1992" by W. Corey Trench is a working draft of Trench's memoir about his career in environmental consulting, his relationship with William "Bill" Ditman, and their experiences during travels in Orenburg, Russia in the early 1990s. The 93-page draft is dated May 12, 2017, and this version of the PDF file was generated on January 16, 2020.</abstract>

            <p>In the 1970s, William Corey Trench worked under William Ditman at the environmental consulting firm, WAPORA Incorporated. Trench established his own environmental consulting firm, PRECOR Corporation, in Sacramento, California in the 1980s, where Ditman served as a business advisor for the company. In 1992, Trench was invited on a two-week trip to Russia by an American political consulting company known as First Tuesday, where he was asked to propose a plan for improving the country's water and waste management. Following the initial visit, Trench returned to Russia several times, including a trip to Orenburg with William Ditman in 1993. In his memoir, "Coming to Russia," Trench outlines his several decades of experience in environmental consulting. As of 2020, Trench is the co-founder and president of Hope Family Village, an organization that provides support to those affected by mental illness.</p>
