 Biographical Note

This collection contains tearsheets and documents from American cartoonist, Hugh Hutton. Best known for his editorial cartoons, Hugh Hutton was an editorial cartoonist for The Philadelphia Inquirer for 35 years. Hutton also worked for The St. Paul Pioneer Press and the United Features Syndicate in New York City.

This collection contains tearsheets and booklets from American cartoonist, Hugh Hutton. This collection includes tearsheets of editorial cartoons from The St. Paul Pioneer Press, his extensive work with the Philadelphia Inquirer, and other miscellaenous editorial cartoons. This collection also includes syndicates from his cartoon strips The Boomers and Suzie Sunshine from 1931 to 1933 and Small booklets related to editorial cartoons. Original art by Hugh Hutton has been separated and cataloged in the Original Art Database.
