Our Choking Times newspaper was established in 1970 by Black Students at The Ohio State University. The publication provided a platform for political concerns during that era in time. The campus newspaper was an outlet for creative expression and literary works. The collection, housed within the Ohio State University Archives contains 124 issues comprising 1,403 pages and 3, 601 articles. The exhibit purposefully aligns with our strategic direction and campus initiatives by advancing research and preserving knowledge through scholarship.
