This workshop aims to get someone totally new to programming and R as quickly as possible from installing R to creating charts and graphs. Using RStudio and the visualization package ggplot2 (part of Tidyverse), participants will receive hands-on experience following coding demonstrations to import datasets, create various kinds of visualizations, adjust formatting and aesthetics and output their final visualization for use as a jpeg or pdf. Note that for the sake of time, some concepts such as R syntax, data cleaning and wrangling will not be covered in-depth.
