What is open pedagogy, and how can it connect with the information literacy concepts you want to teach?

In this workshop, part of the University Libraries Information Literacy Virtual Workshop Series, you will be introduced to open pedagogy, which centers students as knowledge creators by employing social and participatory technologies for interaction, peer-learning, knowledge creation and sharing. You will leave with strategies and resources that will help you connect open pedagogical practices with your goals for teaching information literacy.

This virtual program will include automated captioning. If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please email as soon as possible. Requests made at least one week prior to the event will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
