Join us for a conversation with two-time Olympic medalist, world record holder and The Ohio State University Athletic Hall of Famer, Harry “Butch” Reynolds. Butch is a track superstar who rose to global prominence in the late 1980’s when he set world records in the 400m, led Ohio State to a track title and won multiple world and Olympic medals.
Butch’s life and track career came crashing down when a lab mix up falsely showed a positive steroid test. Butch's redemption story was recently featured on NBC4 and ESPN 30 for 30, and we are excited that he is returning to Ohio State to share his story with us.
The conversation will be facilitated by NBC4 weeknight anchor, Kerry Charles. Light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by September 11, 2024.
This event is sponsored by University Libraries and Ohio Staters, Inc.
