Join University Libraries for the fourth annual Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon at The Ohio State University.
Despite its wide reach, Wikipedia suffers from a severe gender gap: the online encyclopedia has fewer and less extensive articles on women and queer artists. This inclusive event is dedicated to improving coverage of gender, feminism and the arts on Wikipedia. On March 30, we invite you to join us in person to edit Wikipedia and hear from our invited speaker, Dionne Lee. Lee will begin her talk at noon. Please bring your own devices (laptop, iPad, etc.) for editing. If you can’t make it in person, we invite you to edit throughout the day and contribute to closing the information gap online. No experience necessary!
The Fine Arts Library at Ohio State is located on the lower level of the Wexner Center for the Arts and is not accessible through the main entrance. Our door is located at the end of the outdoor corridor near Arps Hall.

Dionne Lee is a visual artist working in photography, collage and video to explore power, survival and personal history in relation to the American landscape. Lee received her MFA from California College of the Arts in 2017. She has exhibited work at the Museum of Modern Art, NYC; New Orleans Museum of Art; Aperture Foundation, NYC; Silver Eye Center for Photography, Pittsburgh; Interface Gallery, Oakland; and the San Francisco Arts Commission, among others. Lee is a 2022 Artist-in-Residence at The Chinati Foundation and Unseen California.
