- In 1978, the Nova Convention, a three day convention meant to honor William S. Burroughs and his work, took place in New York City, New York. It consisted of readings, film screenings, concerts, panel discussions, lectures, exhibitions, and more. Side A: In this recording, dated December 2, 1978, two musicians, Laurie Anderson and Julia Heyward, perform their own piece, playing "Song From America On The Move." Burroughs then speaks about the purpose of the Nova Convention, discussing a variety of themes including the atom bomb and pollution. He reads selections from his work, "Roosevelt After Inauguration"
